Last week, I had the honor to be part of the official photo/video team for one of the most beautiful festivals I know – the Taubertal open air festival near Rothenburg o.T. Located in the gorgeous valley of the river Tauber, the festival area is surrounded by green hills and forests, coming along with a view from the center stage over the crowd to the medieval district of Rothenburg.
The camping site is located on the fields above the valley and has its very own character, shaped by thousands of campers spending a lot of efforts in building their festival quarters, high seats on trailers, wagon forts, shacks and so on – all combined with their own PAs, power generators, barbeque systems and every kind of decoration and lovely details you can imagine.
After 4 days filled with great concerts from german and international bands (to name a few: Seeed, Broilers, Samy Deluxe, Movits, Biffy Clyro, Casper, Jimmy Eat World, SDP, Lagwagon, Kakkmaddafakka, Sportfreunde Stiller…), roaring parties and sleepless nights I have to thank the 18.500 visitors, the kind organiser crew and the insane Taubertal blog team for the fun times we had during creating content, content, content!
See you all next year to the 20th anniversary!
